Mom's are very overprotective of their children when they are dating someone who is not their father. If you want to really impress that woman and her mother, get the kid a present. Once you are there at the party, help play host. Your girlfriend already has a lot on her mind with the planning of the event and making sure everyone is taken care of and is having a good time. Take some of that burden off her shoulders by going around and asking people if they need anything and making sure everyone is where they are supposed to be. Be friendly and courteous and keep making your rounds, in other words, don't just sit there like you are another guest at the party. You are basically showing her what kind of long term partner you can be for her and her daughter. If that does not impress her, her mother and her daughter, I dont know what will.|||Bringing her a present would be best but maybe you could get some tokens and show the little one a good time.
