When you throw a birthday party does the host get taxed like a
waitress?|||When you throw a party, there is a certain amount of gratuity that goes directly to the employee that hosted your event... This is given to him/her in there check. They will get that amount taxed just like it were hours worked, and not commission from the party...|||actually that happens at a lot of places... but NOT at Chuck E. Cheese's... I WORK THERE i know... we aren't taxed on our tips,,, and it's the choice of the person paying for the party if they want to tip us,,, it's not forced upon them by a gratuity

Cheese's that i work at =] you'll make your host/hostess a very happy person if you do tip though lol because many people don't tip or they don't tip well and believe me hosting parties is REALLY stressful
