I want to have it at a Chucky Cheese or something like this. Where the kids can run around and eat and stuff.. My question is do I pay for everyone I inviteds meal or do they pay for all that themselves. Need to know what to put in the invitation.|||as to alot of rude and underlying synical tones here with these posters. It sometimes is easier to just be nice. Shes asking a question what is good manners not, please tell me how to be a total jerk...
I too never knew the ediquette of party throwing. If you are to invite people to a party and its just the kids then you pay for the kids meals. If you invite kids, family, friends, and the whole works, unless you want to go broke its a pay for yourself deal I would think... as long as the parents and family knew they had to pay ahead of time that would avoid any embarassing check paying later. If you cant afford to pay for everyones meal, then just rent a room and provide what you can afford in a buffet style.|||emmm, it's a birthday party, so, i'd say you pay for everyone's food and drink...|||Most parties I take my kids to I pay for myself. If just my daughter or just my son is invited I pay for myself and the child not invited. But, I have seen where parents only pay for their child and not the ones they invite. Tough call. But I would say pay for the ones you invite. Limit the number if you are on a budget. And Chucky Cheese has package deals you can get that is cheaper than paying individually...|||I wouldn't put anything in the invite about it first off, and secondly you should pay.. not being rude.. :) It is a pizza place, so order a couple large pizzas. Only invite family. If the child is school age, let them pick 2 friends to invite. That is what I would do.|||You pay for the pizza and drinks.|||You should pay for everyone you invite.|||u need to pay fro everyone u invite ....just like the guests have to pay for the presents they take....or are u going to pay for the presents?
